Too soon it was time to leave Qatar. We arrived in South Africa after another business class flight. Then we began our long drive to an unknown destination before we got to Zulu Nyala.We drove for about 5 hours, Mom and me sleeping off and on, to the town of Piet Retief. There, we stayed at the Bali Biasa bed and breakfast. For dinner we went to Mama Mia, and I had very, very good ribs. In the morning, we had and English breakfast, then we drove for about 4 more hours to get to Zulu Nyala. Almost straight away we went on our first safari drive. On our first safari, we saw nyalas, zebras, warthogs, impalas, hippos, elephants, crocodiles, rhinos, giraffes, kudus, water bucks, wildebeests, and a mommy cheetah. Today we saw yellow billed kites, velvet monkeys, and cape buffaloes too. We also found the female cheetah eating a nyala and we watched her for half an hour. It was really amazing.
