We had a fabulous time in Stockholm! It was a short 20 minute train ride into the city.
Mom felt it was so surreal to be back after 5 years. We had a great time walking around the town. We walked into Old Town and took a small alley way where we found a delicious lunch spot.
We found a couple geocaches and even went back to the pharmacy where Mom and Dad bought the test that said Norah was on the way! We packed all we could into 4 hours and then made it back to the airport with plenty of time to check in and get on our flight to London. Dad was brilliant and booked us a night at the Hilton located at Gatwick. This meant it was only a 5 min walk to our room, which was perfect after not really sleeping much on the planes.
We woke up and leisurely headed into London on the train. We are staying in Knightsbridge which is a great location. After dropping off our bags, we decided to walk through Hyde Park to Picadilly Circus, Leicester Square and Covent Gardens. We enjoyed a lunch of fish and chips too! We had a couple busy days so decided to head back to the hotel just as it started raining. It was time to rest our feet and watch a movie. Tomorrow is another day that is sure to bring adventures! We are also going to see Miss Saigon tomorrow night! Only Mom has seen it... more than 25 years ago!
