It was a late start for Keira and Josh who needed a bit of sleep. Seems like jetlag set in a little. After rousing them, we finally made it to Westminster Abbey and it was closed. Prince Charles was attending a funeral. We will have to decide if we head back another time to take Keira inside.
From there we decided to take the bus, but after 30+ mins with no bus, we set out on foot. We have been averaging 5+ miles of walking each day. It is great fun seeing so much of London, but our feet are a bit tired today. We did manage to walk to the Tate Britain where we had a snack and enjoyed some modern art. We decided to make our way through Pimlico and found a quaint cafe for a spot of tea and coffee. On our way back to the hotel we walked through Harrods and enjoyed showing Keira the amazing store. We had a bit of time to rest our tired feet before heading out again for Leicester Square to see The Commitments. Yep, they have turned the movie into a musical that is really all about the music, but of course you already knew that.
Now we are back at the hotel, checking email, texting (Keira misses her friends), and blogging. We can't stay off our electronics for long! We will have to see what adventures tomorrow brings, but first, off to bed!
